I always wanted to be a writer.
My love affair with words began before I could write them. Stories told or read to me would hold me spellbound as a toddler. Learning to read at school was such a joy. From avid reader to writer seemed like a natural progression. However, my High school dream of being a journalist was not realised but every business letter and document I wrote in my career as a personal assistant was carefully considered.
I found my way back to creative writing due to a dodgy knee (that’s another story) which resulted in a return to study, finally attaining my Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing thirty years after leaving school.
People need to tell their story.
I love to write them.
